About this artwork

A calm western river flows through a golden meadow, evergreen trees and blue mountains hover in the distance. Part of Nancy's signature series of nature scenes. She spends a lot of time exploring the landscape around her home in Tacoma, Washington searching for noteworthy compositions. She looks for exciting colors and lines as the foundations for her picturesque scenes.
