About this artwork

Artist Alana Clumeck presents an image of an elk surrounded by two cockatoos and a kaleidoscope of butterflies. I was struck by the sheer volume of parrots flying in the sky, shares Alana. She combines the nocturnal butterflies with inspiration from her two homesÑthe Black Cockatoo paired with the Elk. A visit to her native homeland, Australia, wildly inspires the contemporary piece.
