About this artwork

This painting is of a reclining figure in a foreshortened pose, says artist Gail Ragains. Using a palette with mainly different shades of teal, Gail worked with acrylic paint then used crayons for mark making. Finishing the piece with various streaks and scratches provides dynamic texture to this abstract piece.
