About this artwork

Patricia builds her compositions intuitively with palette knives, blending colors and developing texture directly on the surface of her panels. She says this painting started out in this way, but something was trying to speak out. I scraped off most of the fresh paint and this is what was created because of it, explains Patricia. More of a fresco look - paint peeling off walls, age, with messages left behind.
