About this artwork

An outdoor art fair in a city is the subject of this colorful piece. The buildings are rendered in large sections of bright colors, leaving the foreground to be developed with more detail and more expressive brushwork. The people, art, easels, etc. are rendered in quick strokes of color, allowing the red underpainting to be visible and creating an almost abstract quality. This is a piece of art with art itself as the subject. The sides are painted brown, and it arrives ready to hang.
