About this artwork
This is an image of a cat with a dead rat in its mouth. The piece was created by Drew McSherry using a charcoal pencil and kneaded eraser. He began the piece with a simple sketch of a cat and then rubbed it with a kneaded eraser to lighten the line work. Then he began to layer and remove the charcoal until the final image emerged.
