About this artwork

This piece reflects the sinking feeling of anxiety and how one struggles to keep their head above water when faced with it. The image was created in a subtractive process, where I begin by laying down a layer of medium and bringing out the image using erasers, paper cloths, and my fingers. The piece has been sprayed with fixative but caution should be taken when handling the piece as it is delicate.
