Part of Jennifer Ross’ Kintsugi Horse series, the white horse is created using a layer of broken eggshells with the mane and tail heavily textured and sculpted out of acrylic gel medium. Jennifer comments “If a picture is worth a 1000 words then this painting is a narrative taking a single step to begin the journey of a 1000 miles”. A piece of Japanese kimono fabric for the horse’s saddle blanket completes the Asian influence seen in this piece.
