About this artwork

Fern leaves emerge from a white vase, paired with blue-toned vessels and three figs in the foreground. The vibrant green foliage contrasts beautifully with the pastel containers and the dark background. Artist Peg Belcastro incorporated handwritten thoughts in charcoal, subtly veiled beneath collaged rice paper. Bold outlines and textured brushwork add depth, creating a visually captivating composition.
