About this artwork

A feather falls from the sky onto the back of a palomino horse, who turns to admire it. Using broken eggshells, Jennifer intricately collaged the pieces to form the form of the horse. Jennifer draws inspiration from the Japanese art of Kintsugi, repairing broken pottery with gold to create something that is more beautiful because of its imperfection, not despite it.
