About this artwork
I watched a robin gather material to construct her nest and decided to pick up some small curved twigs that were on the ground. I was working on this piece and the twigs were the perfect addition of texture. On the background is a layer of eggshell mosaic that continues on the sides of the gallery wrapped canvas. The back is wired to hang.
