About this artwork

Patricia builds her compositions intuitively with palette knives, blending colors and developing texture directly on the surface of her panels. She poetically describes the composition of this painting as strong color sewn and drawn to the fragile white below, with just tiny thin strings and threads, referring to the fragility of safety. Blue-green, cream, beige and underlying hints of rust orange in many layers.
