About this artwork

Corrugated cardboard provides an organic texture that contrasts with the softness of linen. By blending everyday materials with traditional surfaces used in painting, artist Chus Galiano challenges artistic conventions and sparks a dialogue between the ordinary and the artistic. In exploring contemporary abstraction through tactile and visual elements, he uses paper, plastic bags, paints, and aluminum to create the piece.
