About this artwork

There is a certain time when the sun is setting where the light transforms green hills to pink and purple, says artist Brit J Oie. The world takes on rose-tinted glasses and magic feels possible. Brit offers a dreamy panoramic view of an expansive landscape glowing under a warm sunset. By combining layers of acrylic paint and embossed papers, Brit creates a highly textured surface with low relief effects. We need times like that, times where we are lifted away from our worries and where hope and love feel close by.
