About this artwork
The gas station on the lonely stretch of highway in the desert is always a welcome sight, especially when the gas gage in that 59 Olds is hovering near the E. This is the gas station of fins and chrome; of an ice cold coke in a bottle for ten cents. These places are right on the highway, no need to exit, just pull in. This is a minimalist view. It's about the feelings and smell of the desert in the middle of the day. A view aimed at the part of our conciseness that just wonders.
