About this artwork

A colorful painting of a modernist landscape reduced to geometric forms. A rainbow of grasses lead the eye into the painting, past a vaguely suggested pool and covered portico on the left, to a complex interaction of palm trees and a sunlit hillside in the background. It was great fun to paint with the lively palette made up of purples, aquas, green, oranges and hot pinks.
