About this artwork

The Coquitlam River is an abundance of emerald treasure, most specially in the summer months, says Jo. She spends much of her time in the warmer months walking the riverbanks, sketching and taking reference photos for paintings. Green grass, green moss and everything green sparkles in the summer heat.
