About this artwork

Artist Mary Pratt paints two blue birds delicately perched on opposite branches. As they engage in their dance, their tail feathers serendipitously meet, creating a focal point for the composition. In shape psychology, triangles are used to indicate adventure, intensity, or getting somewhere, shares Mary. That explanation seemed appropriate as I imagined the birds frolicking and zipping about.
