About this artwork

Lenny At The Book Barn is a portrait of one of the the staff that worked at one of the artist's favorite used book stores. Lenny was a long time volunteer in the non profit establishment. He recently passed on. The artist painted Lenny quietly reading in one of the store's quiet spaces. Lenny, and the book collection behind him are rendered in loose strokes to enhance the relaxed and slightly disorderly arrangement of the shelved books.
