About this artwork

Still-life painting has been a favorite form of expression for me ever since a professor of art history spent an hour on the hidden motivations and passions of various fruits of the Renaissance. The persimmons shown here, however, could not be more guileless in their bold display of color. The edges of this painting are white. It is wired and ready to hang.
