About this artwork

The title of this painting is based on a Robert Frost Poem. I love to go for walks in the wooded countryside near my my home. I always think of Frost's poems when I walk in the woods. This particular view was painted after a deep snowfall. When the storm broke, the clarity of the brightly lit snow at the end of the day created lusciously colored elongated shadows from the trees. The painting is varnished, wired and ready for hanging. The edges are a clean white gesso.
