About this artwork

Evocative landscape of the beautiful Salton Sea, a body of water facing a possible ecological disaster. The painting captures the other-worldly quality of the sea, with it's minimalist landscape and the constant bank of luminous mist that hovers on the horizon of the far shore. A breakwater lying almost in complete shadow creates a bay that expands with ethereal light.
