About this artwork

As the sun rises above the ridge, the hillside comes alive with color and the shadows seem to dance. The tree foliage was created with multiple layers of glaze (oil paint and a clear medium). I wanted them to appear loose and free. This painting is on a gallery wrapped canvas, the painting continues on all sides, and it comes ready to hang.
