About this artwork

This impressionist style landscape - painted with loose, bold strokes - creates a mood of summer serenity, says artist Kajal Zaveri. With a calm and cool aesthetic, it was inspired by my many walks around the local lake with its clear blue water flanked by big green trees. They provide the much-needed shade and the breaks in between to enjoy the blue and green landscape.
