Two American Paint Horses rear up in dramatic display. Artist Jan Fontecchio Perley says she was immediately drawn to the patterns and colorations of the wild horses against the cloudy sky, almost in surreal representation of one another. Jan worked in many colors to capture the nuanced light and muscular bodies of the animals.
