About this artwork
The Ponte Santa Trinita bridge in Florence, Italy, is bathed in the warm morning sunlight. This was painted from a photo I took during one of my morning jogs along the river. I would wake up as early as possible to catch the dramatic light on the domed buildings. This was difficult because of the long nights of wine drinking, but the plentiful espresso bars all over the city helped me accomplish my goals!
