About this artwork
Loved the relaxed pose of this model and wanted to capture that feeling of utter repose. The lovely red hair, closed eyes and subtle drapery all work together with the loose spontaneity of this medium to create a really nice result! The background texture is created by sprinkling salt on the wet paint wash! This will need a nice mat and frame! And a good home, of course!
