About this artwork

Inspired by a beautiful basin in northern New Mexico outside of Santa Fe. A monsoonal storm passed through and left the ground wet, says artist Heather Foster. Somehow that creates the most intense, saturated colors you will see. The storm is breaking up, but the rain is falling from one cloud in the distance. The fence line creates a geometric division of the landscape and also reinforces the depth with its perspective.
