About this artwork

I enjoy painting animals, and horses are a favorite, shares artist Chris Wagner. This black and white one stood out and fit well in the simplistic scene that I had in mind, making use of the negative space as I like to do. A horse bows its head, joining the rust-colored mountains rising in the distance, with both elements meeting head to head in the middle of the painting.
