About this artwork

Vintage American cars are some of the finest works of art in the world, states John Jaster. From the 40s through the 60s the auto industry embraced long stylized curves, bright colors, and artistic design. Cuba is literally a rolling car museum, where everywhere you look is an old-school American brand vehicle. This yellow and gold Plymouth has a red exterior visor and lots of beautiful chrome. John utilizes heavy body acrylics with multiple layers to achieve bold and rich colors.
