About this artwork
I love old farmhouses and the air of mystery that surrounds abandoned ones. I painted a simple white Gothic style house, with an old red barn, shed, and a small flock of sheep in this large piece. The painting is varnished, with the scene continued around the canvas wrapped sides. This piece is wired and ready to hang! Add a piece of peaceful, quiet country to your home or office. I live and paint on an old farmstead in the Midwestern Heartland. My contemporary rural landscapes are painted simply from the heart.
