About this artwork

Artist Sally Adams shares a dreamlike view of a trail going through an autumnal forest. She draws inspiration from a reference photo she took between Harbor Springs and Rogers City in northern Michigan. An overcast fall day and a meandering peaceful path open to a bright spot just around the bend. The amber and gold tones with lingering accents of muted lime green exude the vibrant warmth of the season.
