About this artwork
Long ago in Pennsylvania, farmers would pile up rocks when clearing fields for planting crops, arranging them in long, fence-like structures. Over time, these rock formations became covered in moss and leaves. They can still be found today while walking through the woods or fields. The artwork depicts one such structure beside a deep water pool, with a collaged sycamore tree trunk framing the scene.
