About this artwork
Suzanne revisited a site and theme found in a previous work, Solar Event over Marsh and Fen. However, she changed the tone of this painting to reflect the cerulean blue of the sky overhead. She says, I also noticed the very desirable Rough Goldenrod growing throughout the marshy area, so I added it to the composition and the title.
