About this artwork

Path Beside the Lake captures the feeling of a crisp, breezy Autumn afternoon on a path around a lake. The near trees have a few golden leaves clinging to their branches. In the background we see warm red orange foliage in the woods. The edges of the canvas have been painted dark blue-black. This oil painting has been sealed with an invisible wax which protects it and adds a subtle luminosity.
