About this artwork

I was on one of my drives through the Texas hill country and wandered upon this beautiful scene, shares artist David Forks. I immediately noticed the stark contrast between the bright new growing foliage of small sycamores against the dense greens of cedar and oak. The bright sky illuminated the creek with its beaming light casting shadows beneath trees and heightening natural hues of the rocky bank and grasses.
