About this artwork

A spring field in Texas Hill Country blanketed with wildflowers and bordered by old growth oak trees. This painting contains many of my favorite elements in the landscape - oak trees, hills, cacti, rocks and flowers, says artist David Forks. He utilized a painterly impressionist technique to capture the fleeting splendor of the scene.
