Various patterns appear in the form of red dots and scraping of color. I paint standing up with the painting lying flat so I can control the paint application better, shares Patrick. Using fluid acrylics, ink, collage papers I apply layers & layers of color. Scraping, scratching & painting back into it to reveal subtle texture, color, shape & patterns.
